Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Added a new domain to my portfolio:

VR Healthy (.com)

So with all this talk and mention about VR and 360 and 3d does this show viability in the "VR+360" string combo'd with one keyword in front?

I see a lot of taken keyword+VR360.com combos since 2014-2015 with High monthly search keywords. We're these good bets based on this "vr360" trend?

Too bad it has been renewed though.

This then opens up the possibility that the Domain owner can pump the value of his domain with a second/friends account bidding for the small fee of a 80 dollars late renewal.

Not saying that the gentleman (or woman) owning VRmaker done this, but this system GoDaddy has in place is easily corrupted.

Again good news for my VRFootballMatch + VRLiveMatch + LiveMatchVR dotcoms.
Matches in VR surely going to be a big big hype :)

LiveMatch Vr is a keeper!

your 2nd account would not work. you'd be found and erased. so a good thing.

p.s. no need for 80$ renewal. to transfer out expired domain is free.

I'm with you. I thought the same thing when I saw that VRWood sold for $1500.

VRMaker is what I would call an "ESL Domain". Most of the ESL domainers on NP have a pretty firm grip on the English language, but every now and then there's that cringe worthy, awkward sounding domain that takes a Native English Speaker to point and say "Wait a minute.....that shit ain't right lol!", but if someone's willing to pay for it, why not?

It's not even a matter of incorrect grammar sometimes....it's plain awkward, unnatural, non-fluent sounding English that an international audience may find difficult to take seriously.

But again, if someone's willing to pay for it, why not?

The Chinese are still at it with snatching up the domains on my to-buy list.

If you have the money, reg the domains you plan on regging today, or they'll be gone tomorrow.

Most of the VR domains regged from my to-buy list now have Chinese owners and it's no surprise, given the amount of interest in China.

Pretty sure I had competition for a dropping domain I just won at auction from a chinese buyer so they are checking the drop list's as well.

The "cn-" in the username kind of give it away.

Only 3 of us in the auction but the chinese user seemed most interested in acquiring the name but they didn't push me as far as I thought they would and I ended up getting VR Healthy (.com) for low $xxx

Nice! Thanks. A la Terry Gilliam and some Bladrunner vibe in there. Some good potential in that story.

8 years ago, it was the Korean's.
But many cheated with malware peeks at your url typing.
Much like most of the great old dog domainers did 15 years ago.

whoooooooooo... I better watch who I call a old-dog domainer now-a-days !

Anyway, the interest has perked-up as it is CES Asia right now.

Hmmm Chinese aye ?? They haven't gobbled up the real true investments that only they can appreciate its real world value.

BduVR.com ( BaiduVR.com)
TengxVR.com (tencentvr.com)
WboVR.com (weibovr.com)
TxunVR.com (TencentVR)
BDxnxs.com (Baidu Virtual Reality.com)
Xnxszg.com (VRChina.com)
And just now regged

HuawVR.com. (HuaweiVR.com)

I love the whole Chinese pinyin translation . so long as the pinyin resolves to exact match. You are gold.

Pinyin is the wild wild west.

I would never register baiduvr.com that's just suicidal. But bduvr.com ? I'm OK with. Especially if in thee end it translates to baiduvr.com

Just sit and wait.

Vrxnxs.com taken Chinese
Xnxsvr.com taken Chinese
Yuming. Com taken Chinese April 15, 2016
