Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

VrFilms I don't really understand, if you are in virtual reality than why would u watch a movie in it. I can completely understand VRgaming but VRfilms and Vrcinema I fail to believe will be big.

Although I am happy to hear your reasoning for it.

super often it will make absolutely no difference to the value of a domain, whether I or you understand the full why of it. all it means is that we don't understand everything. and that's alright with momma.. cause in the end it's like you said it.. that we're all here to learn.

a useful tool for you and me is a simple check of domain history. if you see something that was regged tons of years ago and then kept and renwed til now.. you are dealing with a VR beast. worth tons of money. and which does not give a faintest crap whether I or you approve of it or fully understand it. ;)

here is yoru link.

happy vr domaining!

my 2 NY vr's;

VRNYNY.Com

NYNYVR.Com

:xf.wink:

Glad to know I'm not the only one with a NY VR name here. I have the version VR NYS (New York State) - because it was 5 L and shorter than most options.

I was surprised the 2 I have were still available last week I regged so there are some decent ones out there if u search but as mentioned prior they r getting scooped up fast as more vr news comes out daily!

and once google gets even more involved look out folks!!! u think the numeric domain rush was big this could top it , I hope lol..

good to hear on 5l issue!

geo + vr is a no brainer imo

ive been regging what I can find but with vr at end instead of beginning of domain if possible but will reg at beginning if other is taken

don't forget geo + 360

even geo + vir style but my last choice if at all

you mean like BoraBoraVR.com and IpanemaVR.com ParisFranceVR.com?

just got IREVR.com

IRE - Ireland
IRE - International Real Estate
IRE - International Rental Exhibition ( http://www.khl-group.com/events/ire-2014/ )
IRE - Internet Real Estate
IRE - Iron Realms Entertainment

IRE - This one is crazy! and totally by accident by my part. ( had no idea!)

Intuitive Rift Explorer (IRE) is a cute little robot whose head and cameras controlled via a person who uses a pair of VR glasses from Oculus.

As you can see in the video, the robot imitates human head movement and man can through the Oculus Rift spectacles see exactly the same thing as the robot's cameras record. To move the wheeled robot uses a controller similar to those used to the usual game consoles.

I guess that robots like this could be used as telepresence robots in the future if, for example, to attend meetings and other not only through traditional video conferencing. The robot was developed by student Jonas Lauener at the Swiss University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW.

Old Video 2014.

I like Geo+VR names. They're versatile, and fairly safe.

NewYorkVR could be:

VR tourism app about New York.
VR community hub in New York.
VR Arcade in New York.
VR content producer/solutions provider in New York.
& then you have all the various meanings of "VR", such as Vacation Rentals, Vocational Rehab, Vintage Racing...

NYVR360.com
NYCVR360.com
NewYorkVR360.com
ManhattanVR360.com

I think I mentioned this before on here or no. sorry if I did but I tell you it's fascination how certain 3 letter words or abbreviations can pull up high monthly searches.

I was trying to register VR+LIC+K.com it was of course taken for obvious reasons.

so I was thinking some keywords in that niche can sometimes be shortened and still have high monthly searches.

I tried LICVR.com and VRLIC.com. both not taken so took it for the shortness.

checked the monthly searches for keyword LIC and ....wait for it???

LIC - 1,000,000 monthly searches!

I think the first industry to really adopt VR technology will be real estate. Imagine buying a new home off the plan, but being able to explore it through VR first, or inspecting apartments from your real estate agents office. Thus, the only name I have in this category is around is in this niche.
You are right. Google Street View has included 360 tours for years. The ability to "see inside" a business helps attract more visitors. Many real estate companies offer 360 tours of properties on their sites. The only element missing is widespread use of VR headsets and that is on the way.

This is the reason I bought RestaurantVR. Ofcourse people will want to check out hotels and restaurants in 360 before going out or when planning a vacation.

I was the previous owner of the tube domain on your list. I have dropped the domain because of trademark issues. But it is ridicules they got the trademark on the first place. MindGeek (ManWin before) have a history of hitting hard with UDRP / lawyers. They are one of the biggest adult company on earth with oa a big list of popular tubes under their umbrella. But is a decent domain...

did some random goofing off. interesting that VR-Ready.com is taken. I like that it's hyphenated and it works because if you search for keywords VR Ready you almost always see it as VR-Ready.

besides VRReady.com would look problematic because of the RR next to each other. someone told me before on NP that this was "ugly" and no one would buy it.

that hyphen really helps.

VR-ReadyPC.com is taken too.

pretty cool.

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=vr+ready+pc

even though it has only 1300 monthly searches. I like it.

VR-Ready belongs to me. Only had one mid XXX offer so far via DNS. The .net, .org and .co.uk are owned by Oculus, and I was fortunate to find the .com had dropped and was just sitting there unregistered.

I'm the owner of VirtualRealityReady dot com.

Funny story about VR-Ready! That's how I ended up with HapticP**n.com - the .net, .org were taken, but someone let the .com drop. Amazingly no one caught it and was just sitting around waiting to be regged. One of my luckier days :alien2:

Hey it is 3rd time you are posting same thing. This doesnt make your domains any more valuable but decreases your reputation here.

Do you need any more lesson?

Congrats on snagging vr-ready. Seems to be the "natural" way sites are mentioning it.

I'm glad I brought it up.;) So much potential to make money in VR domains these days
All we need to do is just sit and wait
