Yes you can, through support. You have to open the chat and request it. It can be a pain though. With this promotion, I would say save the hassle and pick up an expired domain for $ 2,-. However, if you don't feel like regging, that would be the alternative.

Oh yeah, had to wait 20 mins to get connected to the chat, then had a ~45 conversation with many misunderstandings just to get an account with an username which I do not wanted. Chat ended with 'sorry the username can not be changed' ...

However, I had nothing to buy.

I registered 15 names for 2 years each for around $65 total. Did not see any need to bother with support and changing it for 1 year. The same at GD would have costed me around $240.

That is a long wait, probably directly after the promo was released. Yesterday I waited like 2 mins.

As long as you don't use a coupon code and give them the list what to register, they normally do it in around 10 mins or so (my experience).

Another option would be to ask for 10 credits for 1 year .com for the sale price of $ 1.99, they do that too sometimes.

I don't get bothered that much by their support team. It takes a little longer, but as long as it is just 1 chat I am fine with it. When I asked to use a coupon code they had to open a support ticket to a registration specialist and that didn't go so smooth to say the least.

right on! I didn't have much to reg left.. so got 4.. still good stuff for $16 total and 2 years of peace of mind and 750 days of sale potential and offers.

all in all is good to see a bunch of companies like this getting domainers promos.. cutting down on reg costs etc.. if u invest some time eachc year.. u can get quite a few deals on regs/trasnfers/renewals.. cut down quite a lot on overall costs of carrying porotoflio. imo.

@luantt - I tried every coupon code I had saved from dotster and domain and none worked at netfirms, and I didn't find any new online like at RetMeNot. Wait a week LOL

Even with no coupon $6/2 years is such a deal. I caught a domain yesterday with DC and it was $11 and I was like wow that's so much : giggle :

@tvanrijt - They honored coupon in ticket for me and for @premkumar , I wouldn't try it close to coupon deadline though

I've found that the SALE20 coupon is still working at Doster. A .COM domain costs now $4.79 - save 20% OFF for more.

Of course, no limits and valid up to 2 years registration.

SALE20.....................Coupon Applied - SALE20: Save 20% on your entire order (exclusions apply).
googlelady................Coupon Applied - Googlelady: 15% off your order. (Exclusions apply)
NVU.........................Coupon Applied - 15% off your order.
save10....................Coupon Applied - 10% off your entire order
confirm10................Coupon Applied - 10% off your entire order
HACKNY.................Coupon Invalid

I included more coupons because some have individual limits so if you used a bunch of offers you might have to change coupons.. IDK if they limit by coupon or by account

And be sure for the 20% is SALE20 sale with an "L" as in LARRY (I goofed and put save20 V for Victor and of course that is wrong saVe10 is good for 10)

Is it working on any site for $1.29 or $1.99 / 2 years for .coms? I guess I was too slow.

@brandnow - Yes the superdeals ended, so best right now is $4.79/year up to two years. However, they seem to repeat about every couple to few weeks, so keep your standby list ready and watch these threads : smile :
