Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

fantastic.....congrats. Keep motivating. Auction or prime listing in GD?

It started as an standard auction, then I canceled the auction and later the buyer used the GD brokerage service, a transaction with buyer liquidity problems that has lengthened the sale process over 100 days.

Well done @dnvia and @BostonDomainer

That's what it's all about, making fantastic sales, something we've not seen too much of 1st quarter of 2017, hence why this thread has been rather dead lately.

It's sales like this that make things spring back into life though (y)

I know buyers wish to remain anonymous, but can you say whether these was domainer to domainer sales or end user?

Thanks.

Domain name: 18VR.c|o|m
Sales venue:
SEDO
Sales price: $10,001
Purchase price: $570
Purchase Date:
05-15-2016
Purchase venue: DropCatch
Listing type: Default $90 setting at Sedo MAKE OFFER

Details: Nice to have been able to move this NNVR.com in under a year. I couldn't identify buyer. We started negotiations at $1K and moved quickly to final price. It was one of my favorite VR names and I wasn't going to take anything less than $10K... that's why there's that extra $1 at the end lol.

Domain name: (Private) VRNN.com type
Sale venue:
Efty Lander initial
Sales Price: $5288
Purchase Price:
~$21
Purchase Date: in 2014
Purchase Venue: Godaddy Expired Auction

Details: Buyer wants to remain anonymous. This was a much longer negotiation at 3 months. I was very satisfied when we reached agreement. The long ones are nice to finally close on.

GREAT sales my friend, Cograts!

Congrats man, very happy for you. (y)

I've always known VR+Numbers, Numbers+VR will do very well. I'm glad to see my hunch was right.

Thank you Lucid. I had the same hunch on VR+NN and NN+VR being valuable too. Only 100 possibilities each. Nice to finally see some results though after turning down so many offers early.

Thanks mate! I'm fairly certain the 18VR name went to a domainer. I don't know about the VRNN other than the fact it was a Chinese buyer.

true.. but I still maintain (as do many others here) that we're right on time and money and schedule with VR dn sales.. considering the stage at which VR is right now! which is the exact opposite of...well.. an advanced stage :)

here is to a bright VR future! :)

Virtual reality: Is this really how we will all watch TV in years to come?

At the media industry’s annual bash in Cannes, virtual reality is the next mass medium that will take TV to a new level.

Virtual reality (VR) technology secured its place in popular culture through films such as The Lawnmower Man and The Matrix, as well as books such as Ready Player One, which Steven Spielberg is adapting for a movie. They presented visions of technology whereby strapping on a VR headset (or, as in The Matrix, being imprisoned in pods and hooked up to a computer network by human-farming machines) enabled people to explore virtual, computer-generated worlds.

In 2017, these cultural touchstones are freshly in mind for the television industry, as it tries to understand whether real-life headsets can be used to deliver new forms of drama, documentary and storytelling.

Multiple attempts in past decades to make VR a real-world success floundered. However, the release of a new generation of VR headsets in 2016 from Sony, Google, Samsung, HTC and Facebook-owned Oculus VR has brought the technology back to prominence.

The promise: connect a headset to a games console (Sony’s PlayStation VR), a computer (Oculus Rift or HTC’s Vive) or your smartphone (Samsung’s Gear VR or Google’s Daydream View) and you can watch video, play games and explore virtual worlds, turning your head around for 360-degree vision, and interacting via a controller.

If musevr has been sold for 5000, Two things must be recognized:

1) DNVIA is a great seller, has already proven it before.

2) domain of vr will be amazing, as we foresaw.

Jose you are the best, congratulations,

Mario.
