I checked one of my accounts:

114 followers

112 of them are bots, spammers, scammers

The place is overrun with those type of accounts. There is no reason for Elon to fix it since they bring in traffic and he can inflate the numbers. Some scammers can do basic math and figure if my spam/scam account can generate more than $8 a month, it's worth it to pay. Elon has a system that basically legitimizes these accounts by giving them a blue check. It's why you see these accounts trending. There are businesses that sell these type of services, get you trending. They have endless thousands of these accounts on Twitter.

My understanding is that Trump is locked out of selling his stock for 6 months (this is a normal practice for insider shareholders). The stock will likely be only worth a few Rubles by then (currently 1 RUB = 0.0109785 USD).

You went there. That's not what happened and you know it. The response to Pearl Harbor wasn't two atomic bombs. Starting with Japan's invasion of China in 1937 and going to the end of World War 2, we find the Japanese military killed well over 6,000,000 Chinese, Indonesians, Koreans, Filipinos, and Indochinese. Less than 3,000,000 Japanese died during that time including the two atomic bombs. Should I mention the (acknowledged war crime) chemical and biological attacks on civilians by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Service that Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs later apologized for on multiple occasions? You can't make the comparison.
