These days transfers don't take anywhere close to the effort they used to; maybe 5 minutes each domain. I only have 25 domains though.

Yeah I do the same with Godaddy and Name.com and I just used Moniker, I might look into NC and 1&1 but they used to be terrible in the past to transfer out of, is that changed now?

I don't have any problem transferring domains out from NC. Don't know about 1&1

1&1 is a breeze and usually completes in less than 48 hours.
NC usually takes around 5 - 6 days to complete but no problems so far.

My experience is pretty much the same. To be honest I did use well over 100 coupons since October last year, but over last month and a half I've been able to make only one "sub $3" coupon to work.

I feel they are released at (much) slower rate than they were before, so that definitely does not bode well for many of us with overwhelming "coupon happy" mentality.

On a plus side, it's bound to make people think twice before handregging just about anything, so in a longer run it could positively impact quality of names that we see thrown around in this forum
