Can't log in to Moniker account?

I can't log into my Moniker account right now,
I am sure that the password and account ID are both correct,
but it always shows me "login failure" when I tried to log in....
anyone experiences the same thing?

Security Notice: Service-wide Password Reset

Moniker’s Operations & Security team has discovered and blocked suspicious activity on the Moniker network that appears to have been a coordinated attempt to access a number of Moniker user accounts.

As a precaution to protect your domains, we have decided to implement a system-wide password reset. Please read the below instructions to create a new password. You will not be able to access your Moniker account until these steps are taken.

In our security investigation, we have found no evidence that domains have been lost or transferred out. We also have no evidence that any confidential or credit card information has been compromised.

While our password encryption measures are robust, we are taking additional steps to ensure that your personal data and domains remain secure. This means that, to be absolutely sure of the security of your account, we are requiring all users to reset their Moniker account passwords.
Please reset your password by following the directions below.

1) Go to Moniker.com and click the “Sign In” button in the upper right hand corner of the home page. Select the “Forgot Your Password” link.


2) You will be directed to a page to “Retrieve” your Moniker Account Password. When prompted, enter your account number and click “Submit”.


3) You will be directed to a page that displays the message below. You will receive an email from Moniker. Please follow the instructions in this email to complete the password reset.
But, password reset not work, secret answers also not acceptable and now I can't use Moniker.
So strange.

Anyone else getting this crap? Nice to finally get a notice, I'm assuming this is a response to the May hacks and they're finally getting around to notifying me.

After the recent downtime, and other technical issues that Moniker has had lately, it's time for me to reset my password and move my last domain out of Moniker. See ya!

This email acknowledges your request to transfer out of Moniker.com the following domains. It also includes the authorization codes your gaining registrar will require you provide to initiate the transfer from their side

this is frankly the last straw for me, Moniker has had too many problems lately. I'm going to reset my password, transfer out my last domain, and say goodbye to Moniker.

I believe you have to be logged in to use their support online. You use their phone number if you cant log in.

I received the same email. Looks like Moniker has reset everyones password because of a security threat. Wonder if anyone actually got in and got anything?

but no one is available to answer the phone call!

I am afraid that my account has been hijacked....

Just checked my acc - can't log in (but didn't receive any email from them).
Changed my password - works as usual - everything is ok now

Changed password after clicking 'forgot password' then submitted account number and received email to reset password

I forgot the security answer, now i can't reset my password. Just sent an e-mail to moniker.
What is the most secure and security-trouble-free registrar? I may consider to leave moniker.

I'm planning to obliterate my personal info in my Moniker account, with random fake data. I don't plan to use Moniker again.

I don't want my account to get locked forever, and my identity can be read, with me having no control over it.

I went to reset my password and forgot the secret question and my account was then blocked.

I phoned the number and within a matter of seconds I was put through and everything was reset, great customer service.

If you have Facebook or Twitter, search for their name "Moniker / SnapNames" and contact them there. Good luck.

Moniker has to be the worst place ever ! Cant log into any of our accounts there, been on hold well over an hour now WTF? Will be transferring nearly 1200 domains back to GD TODAY ! I suggest that everyone bail from this lousy place !

My account is hijacked by someone else due to Moniker's system leakage, the customer service told me that the email address of my account has been changed (by the hijacker).... this makes me unable to receive the password reset link via "Forgot Password" function.... The person who takes responsibilities on hijacking issue in Moniker (their manager) is busy assisting other customers right now so I can do nothing but wait... I am so nervous about lossing domains.... anyone can help me? SOS!

After performing the password change, I was curious to see if anyone had gotten into my account.

So I went to "ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT" - then "LOGIN HISTORY" to see the historic IP addresses for logins to my account. Luckily the only IP's I saw were my own (from home and office).

Check it out if you think your account might have been hijacked...
