I have sites here and there. Some I have at Bluehost and they have Free SSL, easy to add. Last week I looked at HostGator and they didn't. Got an email today and looks like it will be automatically added to all sites, you can opt out if you want:
"The Free SSL will be automatically added to every domain for new and existing cPanel platform customers. We expect this process to be completed in the coming weeks, well before Chrome browser changes in late July."

Not sure if you can do it now.
When I updated my first site at Bluehost, it had errors and such and watching videos it seemed like it would be a tedious task fixing stuff but then I saw another video and you can use plugins just like:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/https-redirection/ - I've been using this one.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/
Then it's just a couple of clicks and all errors gone.
