GPT is not trademarked (I mean, it is for brands, but I don't see how it can be argued against with such an abbreviation possible of reflecting many meanings)I'm not registering any cause it's a waste of money.
Just another meta, libra, stadia. No point in trying to make money out of another company's TM.
Chatgpt is.GPT is not trademarked
Perhaps there's more to learn then, what is the legality of having a domain, for example, "TheChatGPT.com", where the trademark is ChatGPT, but the interpretation of the domain is TheChat GPT versus ChatGPT. They're different, perhaps? Is this where it'd be argued against in court? Who am I to know, but..Chatgpt is.
Good luck with that one. But trying to make money out of someone else's name seldom leads to riches.Perhaps there's more to learn then, what is the legality of having a domain, for example, "TheChatGPT.com", where the trademark is ChatGPT, but the interpretation of the domain is TheChat GPT versus ChatGPT. To follow this example, imagine if the domain is interpreted as The ChatGPT, then there would be issues, of course, but, I guess that's a whole legal headache.

Can the buyer lose the domain due to this pending TM even if it sold during the pending state? @jberryhillNice sale.
But the fact that the TM is pending means nothing in this instance. It's theirs, it will be registered and the date it is effective is the date they started using it for their product.
Yes. They could lose a lawsuit as well. Can the buyer lose the domain due to this pending TM even if it sold during the pending state? @jberryhill
Yeah, it's surprising. You know what's crazy they filed the TM very late and did not register chatgpt.com, someone else snagged it and it is now parked. It was regged on Creation Date: 2022-11-30T23:59:19Z
Bet they did not anticipate it going viral, lesson is to always register the domain before releasing any product etc.
I wonder if chatgpt.com which is regged before the TM filing date will be in trouble. And I wonder how much they make in parking revenue, I would have snagged that name up too lolYeah, it's surprising.

I also wonder, what if someone else files the TMs and not OpenAI is that even allowed?
They would likely be able to easily make a case for them to be denied registration.I also wonder, what if someone else files the TMs and not OpenAI is that even allowed?
