tbh with u tippy, from the last paragraph in that appraisal, it states that there is no really official body chasing up on "private smalle buyers". It's the companies with 500+ names and outside the US that they want.

Like anything else, it will come down to the degree of "enforceability", IMHO. The BiG guys will be targeted, for sure.
Everything is good to go for me, though ... and on a side note, I think all Amercans should register their "FirstLastname.US" (either as a complement to their existing .COM (if they got it early enough), or as a stand-alone domain for the future). My two sense. :p
