I want to make a website about simple software shop (with online demo). Anyone knows what script should i use?

I assumed you need ecommerce script... and by this case i hvae found many many script like this one... If you want to paid for the script. Just try B2b... But if you want a free script GNU/ GPL just try Oscommerce or ZenCart

& my next website is an simple advertising website such as iklanmini.net. What's that script?

For this one... you can simply modify Jooma[url] or [url=http://wordpress.org]Wordpress is the nice one too. But if you cant made some code. You can try this one, Endonesia and you can download in here

And how to create a license file (license.txt and such)?
Anyone has guide about how to create a simple license?

what the license ? You can simpply removed or edit it.... But i make sure always gave some link to all free software that i have used actualy.

Hi wondering if anyone can help? I'm looking for a couple of directory scripts using the google maps api.

Ideally I want to have a searchable database of for example companys (example: subsea.org) which people/and or admin can add to. Which displays a table of info of the company along side the map window showing there location. It would be ideal if this script had a map on the index page with points for all the entrys.

Any thoughts/ recommendations?

ye, Kayako is VERY good, a bit expensive compared to some, but its good.

I have seen a lot of hosting companys using illegal copies, stay away from them, you dont get the security updates and i have seen people get hacked via them..not good.

I'm wondering if there's a domain name generator/availability checker available, that would come with the source code so I could have it modified/enhanced. I have a domain typo generator script, but it is pretty basic and needs more features and ways of generating names.

I'm not aware of any that are available, free or paid - aside from LLL/LLLL/NNN/NNNN/etc combo generators.

Seems like a generic clone script... However you can try magento which's much better and reliable ecommerce script with plenty resources available (free of curse)

Car Dealership Listing Script Needed

I'd like a script that would automatically catalog car dealerships that were submitted by both location and product. So, for example, you could drill down by make first (by clicking on vehicle Make, then State, then City), or by Location (click State first, then City, then Make).

It should allow dealers to submit information on their dealership, hours, description, all makes offered, whether they also sell used cars, provide repairs, body shop, parts...

And, of course, should be entirely crawlable by the search engines.

Need "Digg" script, but with original articles, not pointers to other articles

I'm looking for a script that acts like Digg, but instead of people linking to the articles of others, they are writing up their own articles and having people rate them (like "Digg" them). If they get dugg enough then they end up on the front page listing, if not, they stay in the sidebar list of articles like Digg does.

Is there a script like this out there?

I am sure some CMS'es out there will have an addon or modification to implement a digg like system.

Yes, but I've been going down the CMS route with a developer. It will cost considerably more to do a Drupal type system than if I can find a clone already made, that would work. There is no out of the box add-on for a good CMS I've seen that will do this. If someone here is a CMS guru that thinks they could whip something up for me, let me know.

Looking for Tribe.net style clone script.

I'm looking for a script that works like Tribe.net, or like Yahoo Groups, or similar, where people can set up groups on the fly and others can join them. I like how on Tribe.net that there is a social networking aspect to it.

Anyone ever see anything liek this?

Not interested in Drupal's Organic Groups, as it does not offer enough functionality.
