Hey NamePros Friends,

I don't have much experienced valuating domains based on their former lives, and don't know whether that makes a significant difference to someone who would be looking to develop a new project.

According to SEOProfiler, all links from this domain have 71% Influence Score, so my question is: Would this be considered an additional perk of the domain or am I just being overly optimistic?

Here are a couple of links from WayBack:

2006: http://web.archive.org/web/20060112172026/http://troidus.com/

2016: http://web.archive.org/web/20160128213531/http://troidus.com/

Additionally, this domain has been continuously registered since August 2004. I certainly appreciate any light you may be able to shed on this domain's value, as well as experiences and insight you may be able to share regarding the effects on a domain's value these types of external circumstances may bring.

If anyone could shed some light, it would be greatly appreciated.

Not an expert but link influence is the likeihood of someone to click your link which is a good thing. I konw more backlinks more traffic, more revenue and more sale potential, majestic syas over 400 reffering domains so how's traffic?? for this name I think traffic comes from reffering pages, value-wise not sure but its a catchy name, try to submit to brandbucket and brandroot to get an estimate. :xf.smile:

Thanks for your suggestion. I had thought of eventually trying an auction, but I think you have given me much better advice. I haven't used brandbucket and brandroot, but I am aware of their platform. Is it a good place to get some return on the age and perceived value this domain has?

They accept names based on branding criteria (memorable, short, catchy, pronounceable...) regardless of age and perceived value, bare in mind accepting your name in those platforms doesn't mean it's gonna sell.

I see...I will follow up with those companies you mentioned and see if Troidus has what it takes to get a logo

Thanks for taking the time to provide your insight!
