Are they technically an ally?

In any case, we had sanctions on them once for the ongoing persecution of the Rohingya, they were lifted, and we have reimposed sanctions on them since the beginning of the latest crisis, frozen the assets of the military leader responsible, and recently added to the amount of humanitarian aid we're providing to the refugees. In imposing the most recent sanctions, they referred to it as "ethnic cleansing."

A stronger response than "maybe they did, maybe they didn't."

Myanmar is another mess, but other than economic sanctions seems crazy to get involved. I question everytime checks are sent for “humanitarian aid” doled out. So many scandals and corruption.

The world will always be full of dictators and power hungry animals wearing funny hats. We have 3 in our Hemisphere now. Already sanctioned Maduro, Ortega and Raul... No reason the American Taxpayer need to pay to annililate them as in the past.

Like I said before all wars are over “Conversion or Covenance”. Even the USA, thinking they can convert non democracys to democracy. Stupidity. Vietnam, horrible mess. Afghanistan and Iraq is the largest most expensive failure in modern time, fell under Republican “Leadership”.

I have just as little respect for most “normal” politicians increasing size of govt and debt including either Bush (Cheney, DHS and Patriot act) as I do the Clintons (China), Obama (Obamacare), and Carter ( high interest rates, had a 12.8% loan)

As it might surprise, Reagan IMO was no hero either. Though lessor of all mistaken decisions of the past 5, I could even argue his economic decisions ruined my ability to make a living back then and changed careers meanwhile his Mansion in Bel Air was donated to him by his lobbyist friends. Congress didnt enforce the immigration fines for employers hiring illegals after 1st amnesty back then. Talk about “Collusion” between both Rep and Dem parties against Tax paying Citizens.

I could be wrong but I think they are worried about their own party also. The left is has gone to far manipulating people to limit their speech and public opinions.

That's the nice thing about extremists. They eventually turn on their own. That bad thing is that they may only get around to that after destroying everyone else.

So far as "heat resistant" e-coli and the murder at the Saudi embassy in Turkey, it's completely disingenuous to select those things to worry about in the current wold situation.

E. coli outbreaks because of crops watered with contaminated water is a genuine concern, and something that shouldn’t happen with crops grown in a wealthy developed country.

Getting the picture, I hope? Developed country? There is more human waste on the streets in the heart of San Francisco than there is in many Mumbai slums. What does that say about the culture and governance of a wealthy country that they would enable this? What makes the US a developed country anyway? Sure, there are nice areas, but there are some real sh*tholes as well. I could say the same about most developing countries as well. What makes the USA developed?

You live in Japan, if I'm not mistaken? When's the last time you were in SF? Or for that matter, a Mumbai slum?
You always take arguments down to word usage - picking on the trees instead of looking at the forest. How about "first world country?"
As for the E coli discussion, maybe read back to the beginning of that so you know what the conversation was about.

Progressive Feminist Suspended From Twitter After Criticizing The Transgender Movement
https://www.dailywire.com/news/38669/progressive-feminist-suspended-twitter-after-frank-camp

Worth a 2 minute read but TL:DR: A prominent feminist has been harassed and repeatedly locked out of twitter for stating the simple fact, transwomen are men. When men pretend to be women, it's bad for women.

The LGBTQ mafia has targeted her advertisers, events and social media account. She has realized the only people willing to report and talk with her on the subject are conservatives.

You forgot to include living waste inside Facebook and Google headquarters a few miles south in the Silicon swamp.

Well spent $200 on Roger Waters tickets way up in nosebleed section in a large stadium to take my girlfriend to hear Pink Floyd. I missed them in LA in 70’s, were always sold out. I have never spent this sort of money recently for any concerts and unfortunately, it was last minute thing and no plans before hand research. I did check out the set list, most PF songs from 70’s, which was great, at least I thought. The lights, projection and graphics awesome. Some sound was surround, sub woofers and FOH sound decent for a huge stadium. However, the mix of the Gilmour composed lead guitar parts played by hired guns were not up in the mix (Mr. ego bass player?).

So, what does have to do with Politics? The entire concert was more about the RESIST movement mixed in a Rock concert. @JB Lions you would have been smiling ear to ear and enjoying it. I would never have gone had I known ahead of time. Complete show interspersed was images of Trump vomiting, Trump and KKK iconic graphics and written things Trump has said, and filled sound bites with political crap.

I never liked the Animals LP which was sort of political but not targeted but that part was where most of it was. I came to be entertained, not lectured.

There were about 25 slides during intermission. Each had a string of text. “Resist Trump and Bolton”, Also “resist Mark Zuckerberg”, so had to laugh. So just about every right wing conservative like Le Pen, Farage, the guy from Australia, anybody conservative around the world was targeted “to resist”. I doubt most normal people cared or even knew the names. The crowd was mostly under age 30, surprisingly as that would never happen in the states, only over age 45 probably.

When “Money” came up in the set, Trumps casino, etc. lol. Not one image or photo of Crooked Hillary. Though other G20 World leaders, Putin, May, Macron, even mentioned Bolernero.

First ever political filled message concert... and the last I will ever attend. I will post some photos later. Really pathetic, especially for an audience who wasn’t North American but Latin American and pretty apolitical, calm, peaceful and orderly- not one fight, yelling, etc. It was 85% political propaganda, that was mixed in “Art”. Now I know why David Gilmour, the genius guitarist and song writer won’t tour with him and allow the thing to be called Pink Floyd.

I must admit I have been in a Mumbai slum more recently than I have visited San Francisco. I lived in SF, and it had its sh*thole aspects even then. But I don't know what that has to do with poop in the streets.

Word usage.... well, what else is there? I am asking for you to clarify meaning, which really upset you last time I did it. A dislike no less. What is a "first world country" then? I ask because you seem to imply that the USA is somehow too advanced/1st world/developed to have certain problems that can be found in poorer countries. From my perspective, the USA looks more and more like a developing country. It is slipping backwards. And the main reason for that is utopian social policies cynically promoted by corrupt politicians, business elite, media and other cronies. Facilitated by a gullible public.

So what is it that makes the USA special, in your opinion? Use developed, first-world, or whatever words you like, as long as the meaning is clear.

This is the very definition of transphobia, when you deny people their own identity.
It's not up to you to decide which gender people identity to. Clearly, gender issues are above your head, like so many things, but there are people who cannot afford to live at your own slow pace of comprehension.
How would you feel if I told you you're not an American because you were born abroad, you are not White or Christian ? What is your definition of an American ? Is that a commitment to shared values or just having the right papers ? Blood ? Heritage ? Pledge of allegiance ? History ?
Fortunately I don't get a veto on your private life and personal identity, nor should you have one.

I know trans people and there is one thing they don't like: people who pretend to speak in their names, want to restrict their rights, regulate their lives, when they should mind their own.
Besides, there is two sides to a story. People who complain of censorship are often big on victimhood but short on contextualization.

Another dumb, hating America post. America looks like a developing country, lol. You do understand how many people are trying to get into this country each year? Every country has it's slums, some more than others.

He was charged and convicted or lying. New evidence, withheld from the Grand Jury, not made public until after his trial proves he was entrapped.

There is no collusion.

How many of them are trying to get into SF or LA Slums? @Domainace was rightly pointing out some cities in America have problems bigger than romain lettuce

Not into slums, into America. Domainace is longtime America hater, regardless of who's President. You liked his post because you're just too gullible.

"USA looks more and more like a developing country. It is slipping backwards"

Trump is President. So you just agreed with him America is slipping backwards under Trump.

I have sympathy for people with dysphoria but that is a mental illness, not a scientific gender.

I don't care what you do until it infringes on my rights or safety. The trans movement requires we suspend science, keep our mouths shut and celebrate their condition.

If your "human rights" infringe on my God given rights, they are not rights, they are tyranny.

This is the very definition of transphobia, when you deny people their own identity.

I don't care what you think @Domainace is or isn't. In the context of the conversation, he was correct. America has areas that are as bad as "developing" countires

A progressive woman was banned from social media, livelihood attacked, barred from attending political events for having the wrong thoughts. Thoughts based in reality and science.

LOLZ.

Somebody got banned from Twitter for rules violations, you're really a drama queen.

You're a regressive reactionary.

You brought the story here.

I posted an article about a progressive feminist and her experience with LGBTQ activist. You minimized what happened to her because you're more interested in an argument than the truth.
