How do you check?

Do you guys actually look at all the names on a list being dropped? Or do you use a program to alert you when it finds a cherry?

i use both

i search IE find feature to search for words i like
and then take a look through them
and then use a program for the rest

its not the best one
it only checks for dmoz listings

im currently in the process of getting a web based one custome made for me

My best catches were from lists that I manually read through. For a 20,000 domain list it takes around 25 minutes to read.

If you're dealing with lists of domains, pick up this program. It will help you do sorting and searches. It's a freebie.

www.Exody.com - not a member myself, but one of the best pay sites for domainers to join.

I use the "bleeding eyeball" system, for after looking at ALL of the dropped domains .. my eyeballs feel like they're bleeding. Ouch!

I use all drop/expired listing sites that are free!

each of them want to be the most popular,so they tend to compete among themselves to provide better/quicker listings.

however, some names, which i have "made-up".......sell also.

out of all the services i have used..exody is THE best one!

also don't rely on some software to look for good names..best names can only be searched by your eyes..good luck

That is very true!!
I have found some of my best names through just looking

Although programs that search for links etc are quite good

Amongst other things i'm using a custom software that runs any list of domains against a dictionary .txt list and has other filter options too like lenght , numbers/letters/hyphens etc.etc.

Takes me like 40 seconds to one minute to scan a list of 10000's of domains.

Couldn't live without that program

Uh speaking of - maybe i'm willing to sell one copy, not for cheap though.
