Hi everyone!
First, I know that question/topic has probably been asked more times than there's . COM domains but I'm new to this (like brand new) I read A LOT in the past weeks but this business seems to be all about ''make your own discoveries''.
Still, no harm in asking experienced domainers what they think I'm doing wrong.
Now, mind you, I have only 9 domains that I (stupidly) hand-picked using Verisign. ( STRIKE! I guess :P )
Here are my domain names.
cashjinn
gamedivisions
globaleffective
globaleffectives
globalresponsible
guiltygames
instant-lenders (I know... the ''-'' is a HUGE nogo)
megamoneyslots
silverstarpoker
All of them are . COMs.
OK so in a post made here I read:
RULE#1: always stick to dot coms (CHECK)
RULE#2: Is it brandable? if not, don't buy (mmm mostly check!)
RULE#3: No ''negative'' words ( Guiltygames would be a nogo then but I feel it's a good one tho ... sounds good IMO)
RULE#4: shorter the better. (Well not many short .coms remaining... that was before I learned about dropped domains)
Anyway. From day 1, I put them for sale at Godaddy, Afternic, Sedo, and Dan ...
No views in ANY except Sedo.. where they are parked (probably for that same reason I guess)
Sedo views are like : 15-20 daily Uniques and 5-10 a day Offer Views... that said, I read that views mean Sweet F*** A** .. so wtv
Needless to say that I received no offers either...
They have been up for 1 week.
Question #1: Are these names ok or my ''noobness'' made me feel that they were when they actually suck?
Question#2: If they are ok, what would be your suggestion to help with the offers (if those tips actually exist)
Question#3: Should I wait and stick to my prices? ( OH ... speaking of prices... I priced them based on similar names I found in the markets mentioned above... that said, I later learned that the domain's age is a MAJOR factor for potential buyers.)
Anyway, excuse my incessant rambling XD and more importantly, thank you for your feedback!
