I completely understand where you're coming from and I respect that!so u just took a 5k reg renew gamble when u woke one day like in casino poker or u already had buyer in mind..outbound etc... if domains were easy as your sale we all would is be the milonaire
I completely understand where you're coming from and I respect that!
But I'm sorry to learn that U sound like experiencing some challenges in your domain investing journey. It can certainly be frustrating when things don't go as planned, and I understand that financial constraints can make it difficult to pursue certain investment opportunities. However, I want to encourage you to stay positive and keep working towards your goals.
Remember that everyone's journey is different, and it's important to focus on your own progress rather than comparing yourself to others.
There may be other investment strategies or opportunities that you can pursue that are more aligned with your current financial goals, circumstances, and risk tolerance. All the best!
Inbound & proceeds landed in my account within 48 hours after transfer.yes good info but I was more interested in answer my question. did u is do outbound or is u just random luck like this? also is u got paid cause many sale dan dont payout
wow u guys talk about me ?I dont agree! "Website" is not a strong keyword and it's an awkward name. I'm surprised it sold at all.
He'd already renewed it several times. I don't think it'd be worth continuing to do so to maybe squeeze an extra $200. I'd just be happy to get my money back on that name and reinvest in 10 better names.
You're really not getting it. That's why you are being downvoted... Anyway, this is my last comment and then I'll shut up as I know better.
There was no insult intended, although I admit sometimes I express myself too direct and sounds harsh in English. But I really do believe you don't understand trends, or this trend at least. And how it changes the game for some domains - completely.
This is not an insult, was never intended as an insult; I might be wrong, but this is what I believe based on your answer, and again - I might be wrong. It's for you to decide whether you need to learn more or not.
You're sticking to certain aspects you don't like here; certain flaws which although valid - at least in part - don't actually hinder the value of this domain; again, in the current context. Time and time again I've sold domains WITH FLAWS including of this nature or even worse, in the 4-fig price range. This domain is really down my alley.
I just wanted to raise your awareness; point out that maybe, just maybe, you don't know everything... and still have to catch up.
This is a perfectly valid domain worth 4-fig in current market. And I know it has value. I'd have kept it.
P.S. I knew about the flow issue from the very beginning, the non-native English speaker issue is not an issue at hand. But 2-word domains are NOT just plain brandable or necessarily having the perfect flow. It depends.
Now you can throw the shoe again at someone who tries to open your eyes more. Anyway - this has been my last attempt at that. We agree to disagree, but if you really believe I had the intent to insult you, then I guess there's no room for us to further discuss together here.
Later edit: This was intended for the seller @Jv1999 - that he might have passed on some value here, and that's it. We all let domains go and many would have value, but it's good for the seller to know or at least take it into consideration.
Yeah, however Askweb would be a pricey option. Someone might still go for the AskWebsite if within their budget. Thanks for the @, twiki. I would have never known this discussion was happening unless you did lol
I originally got askwebsi because of the webanswers.com success. But that site went down... so suddenly I saw my domain become useless. I thought websites where people answered questions for $$ were a thing, then I saw them sunsetting.
Glad this domain sold. I trust your AI angle. You're very successful in domaining, which means you know how to do industry research. I wish I knew how to do Industry research asides from googling keywords and reading news articles.
How do you do research on trends?
Also, I would think that even if there is an AI asking site.. people wouldn't use the word website. They'd use "site" so "asksite.com" would be more popular or best is "asknet.com or askweb.com"
I think you're right... i tried to see if there are keyword+website.com avail and there are none...Yeah, however Askweb would be a pricey option. Someone might still go for the AskWebsite if within their budget.
I am quite familiar with less used, less fancy but still sellable words, this among them. ("website")
In fact, as the (perhaps) sole primarily drop reg-based investor here, I know very well that one cannot handreg at drop something like "askweb". Such a premium domain would go straight into DC auctions and a $6k end sale price (random number out of the top of my hat), which is a budget I don't have, nor should I spend in most cases (overpriced - end sale price). So I have made my hand at such second-level words during several years.
This is a lower value domain, yet I am positive it could have been sold for say $1k for example. I might be wrong of course, yet I believe in it.
Trends: I'm just well informed, subscribed to news feeds etc. Guess I spend about one hour per day reading news. That's the simple reason why for example I was able to capitalize on the AI trend by some timely handregs. Did the same with metaverse at the time, although now it is a flop, managed to turn a tidy profit from that.
Pretty sure who bought it has been planning something with GeePeeTee involved for this domain. Or plan to resell it under a similar premise.
Might have been bought by Kraken the crypto platform.I think you're right... i tried to see if there are keyword+website.com avail and there are none...
I will start subscribing to news feeds too! (willgoogle how to do that lol) thanks so much twiki!
I also recently sold eKraken... not sure why that sold. I figured Kraken was a good term, so i got eKraken and iKraken. I guess that is simply a fluke ^_^
Broadway/Sings/./com
PP - $5 + 10 renewal (it was a GD Closeout purchase).
Sold for $1,500, Afternic, negotiated lead, BIN was 1,995.
I will always remember this sale for 2 reasons:
1. At the time of the sale, I was in vacation, on a beautiful island in Greece.
2. The domain sold on 29.06, GoDaddy / Afternic paid me today (24.07). So it was almost a month ...
Thanks for sharingA few recent sales.
Note: The domains have been redacted to prevent indexing and unauthorized sharing. (Hence the reason for posting in this thread and not the standard "Report Completed Domain Name Sales" thread.)
Why post this?
Simply put, to show you that sales are happening, where they're happening and give you a better idea of the price point & frequency in which they're happening.
Additional Note: I use Afternic, DAN & Sedo.
No further details please.

I wouldn't get into that. Most of the people selling these types of names have very large portfolios.

That is why I clearly said not to go about registering it.
Say what?Another myth about what letters want end buyers has broken
ANY LETTERS if they want to buy a LLLL .com
Is NOT important without q,v,jw,z etc..
