I have made some internet-consulting for a small company engaged in the "Nails / Beauty"-business.
They operate 5 very small local retail stores and also operate an online-shop selling nail-polish.
They are spending around USD 2500 per month on Google-Ads alone in order to promote their online-shop.
And they think it is a good deal to spend that much money on Google-Ads.
They are also spending money on Facebook-Ads and also have some product-giveaways with quizzes.
The interesting thing is this:
they did not understand the concept of regging or buying a few great domain-names (highly targeted for their niche) in order to gain organic internet-traffic from type-ins and grow their business or saving money on Google-ads.
Please share your experience with companies.
Did they grab the concept of domain-names and the internet in general ?
Or are they just simply clueless ?
