Domain Reg status PENDING in Gandi.net from past 15 days.

Dear NamePros,

This is DJNyt, new to @NamePros

Please help/advise me with my issue.

I registered a domain at Gandi net almost 15 days back and still the Domain status showing PENDING.

I have raised Tickets on the issue but No Response from Gandi Team.

Even Chat Support option is showing Not Available.

I dont know how else to contact Gandi.net and I dont understand how could they be this careless on a ticket.

Please let me know if there is any solution for this.

How did you find this Domain? I guess it was going to expire.

Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2025-05-21T14:09:56Z

If you say that the status has been the same for 15 Days, then you can see that this Domain was already extended by one more year.

You bought it 15 Days ago?
So It is 14.07.2024.

21.05.2024 (expiry) to 14.07.2024 = 54 Days

Considering: Up to 45 days (Grace Period) + 30 days (Redemption Period) + 5 days (Pending Deletion) = 80 days

The client might have extended (old owner); And the Date of 21.05.2025 expiry shows, that actually, because it should be the same. He just paid the fees.

(Experts: Correct me if I'm wrong)!

Edit: I checked the expiry date of Gandi.net, my bad.
But the could still be the reason.

I am sure the domain is brand new (madeup name) registration.

Never in history its been registered.

I understand what you are saying but its a fresh Reg.

Why do you pick Gandi?
There are so many reputable registrars out there.
You may save a dollar or two but you will have problems.

Now the domain has been registered.

The delay was due to some technical issues (special characters in my address), now sorted.
