Unfortunately DomainSite isn't offering .info domains for $1 anymore, it was that prize during the .info craze.

Say what you want about it but I've spent over a thousand dollars with Registerfly and they suck. They've charged my account twice for one purchase on 12 occasions. Their live chat is with some Dufe named Roger.. that's all I've gotten and he's working on a copy paste answer basis. He says submit a support ticket.

Submit a support ticket and it says 3-4 hours but allow 24.. they fail to mention 60 or more hours. The live phone... that's another story, you cannot talk to anyone who knows anything unless you are looking to become a new customer.

One day I regged 10 names in one day. They closed my account. I had to first talk with Roger on the live chat who knows nothing and offers spin... "send a support ticket". After doing 10 names, they thought someone hijacked my account even though nothing changed. After a half hour on the phone twice, that issue was solved but when it was, they double dipped my accounts.

I pay for my names at regfly with paypal but once in a while I'll use my atmcard from a checking. Well they not only suspended the registration on the 10th name... (which could have been lost) but took money directly out of my checking account.

Talked to dumb Rog again.... "support ticket". So I called and they also said the same thing after being disconnected the first call. Support ticket has been filed now for 6 hours so far..... So far, after 2 years of dealing with these morons, they suck no matter how cheap they are.

Now, going further on the site... when you're logged on during registration you have to constantly re-enter your password to reg a name. If you go to push on the left side of the page when you're logged on to push a name, it doesn't give you an option to push just one, it just verifies you're pushing all.

The bulk manage tool and price are the only good things about this site and this company. They have slow server times when regging also.

Registerfly is pathetic and that's from experience!

Yep, those are great deals....best you can get. They're all about getting customers. Once you're stuck there it's another story.

Good Luck!

I think registerfly shills are spamming this thread.
They seem to be blind to all the complaints against registerfly.

They don't call themselves flypaper for nothing.

..... My complaint for the charges to my account on the recomended support ticket... Their 3-5 hour top-notch support still goes unanswered. I'll post updates.

Changing registrars isn't exactly what I want to do all the time. I don't think any of us do. Registerfly reminds me of companies like Gateway, Thompsons Water Seal, and other companies that have great campaigns to get you into their product but they focus more on new customers then they do to keep the old ones happy.

Their spamming because that's what's important to them. The complaints aren't important cause new customers coming in all the time. I highly recommend not dealing with Regfly and I'm not blowing this out of proportion.

I'll check the rest of these out.

Oh yes, hands down Registerfly has the best deals... So does Thompsons but look at the product. They don't say education isn't cheap for nothing. I would have gladly paid a little extra knowing what I know now.

No - no one is Blind to the Complaints - But I personally have never had even one Problem there at all - A few of my friends in here have had a few .... but not me ~
If anyone is Spamming this thread - I'd say it is the "Regfly Haters"

If I was to complain about anything at regfly - It would be that they are still selling/advertising the new.net type Extensions which are kind of misleading to new Domainers ~

LOL. "Registerfly Haters"... is that what you call people who simply want a good product? I never said I hate anything and neither did anyone else.

If you go back and read the posts, they aren't hate posts, their legitimate concerns and it's nice to be able to get unbiased opinions from folks that have used their services. You haven't had any problems and I'm happy for you. Other have.

I'll tell you this, if you ever do have a problem.. or if they take money out of one or your accounts on file without your permission, you'll not only be singing a different tune but good luck with their support.

I don't hate them, they simply Suck. Just like Thompsons Water Seal... Seals out nothing after 30 days. Registerfly ought to take a look at the complaints and address them, not ignore them. Their log-in stuff. Their shopping cart and their name pushes all have problems. It's not because I hate them, it's a fact. I've been using them for 2 years and have sent email about certain links... they simply don't care.

Your accusation of regfly haters spamming is ridiculous. Put yourself in someone else's shoes once in a while. Matter of fact, I love Registerfly if they would address the issues they do have. Their site has a nice feel to it. Even though they load the slowest. However, their customer service and the fact that they can just yank money out of your account without any authorization while you spend countless hours and headaches trying to clear it up with a support system and staff that lacks what good companies embrace, and that's their customers.

I'm done speaking on this. I will, for the rest of you that do have legitimate concerns, post an update on my situation so we get an idea of how it's being handled and if it's being handled promptly.... we're past the promptly thing, they took nearly $200 out of my account on the 19th without permission. We'll see! Peace of mind is what I'm interested in, I want to hate no one and no company.

I don't hate registerfly. I've never even ever had a domain name
registered there. And from what I have read in this forum, I never will.
I just don't understand how anyone, in good conscience, can recommend
a registrar, who through their own incompetence, have lost domain names
of other namepro members by their failure to do the proper paperwork to
renew them. Are you saying that these charges by other namepro members
is untrue? Why are you encouraging namepro members to risk their
valuable domains by registering them at registerfly?

I resent that inference... for every complaint, there are probably dozens (or more) of us who have never had reason to complain (such as myself).

Every transfer I've initiated with Registerfly has been completed in less than 24 hrs... and I've never had any other problem with them other than speed issues (slow server).

I'm not a "shill" as you put it.. but I will promote any service I've personally found to be of value.

I would find the "haters" more suspect than anything else. They have something like 830,000-840,000 domains under management and a boat load of clients. I have used them for over 2 years now and think they are one of the most professional companies in the business. You have 24 x 7 phone support(most companies are email only), you have live chat as well. If you do any real volume they even can give you a sales manager. As far as name pushes? problems? It is the easiest to use. Just select the names, specify the account to push to and done. What is hard to grasp?

I have referred most of my clients them for non cctld and they are also very content. No one is paid to say anything, it is based on real world experience.
