I was wondering if I could post a thread for NP$ donations to a non-profit 501 501 (c)(3) organization filed with the IRS.

The ministry is Teens4Jesus.org. It has many branches, including, but not limited to:

Brothers in Jesus
Christian College Resource
Christian Scoop
Christian Web Associates
Eternal Ink
Grace of Christ
Lookin4Answers
Missions for the Lord
Passion4Purity
Prayer Networks

I am a staff member of said site. There are not enough funds to keep the ministry going. We have had to let domains drop, due to we cannot afford them. We currently have a colocated dedicated server, but will not be able to afford it either, if some miracle doesn't happen.

We have been around since 1998, and have effected thousands upon thousands of lives.

If you want to help Teens4Jesus, you may donate whatever $NP to me, and I will exchange it for cash in the Exchange.

Every penny collected will go straight to the ministry.

God Bless,

Stephen

(I have asked the staff if this thread would be appropriate, they said it was fine)

Maybe you should apply for a Ribbon

I do not know if that would be appropriate, as it is a religious organization... There arn't any others with ribbons. However, it is a thought.

not sure but you could offer your members to sell stuff to keep the website up

We are doing something similiar, I believe. I do not recall the company name, but we are using the Ebay program which users can sell items, and the proceeds, or a certain percentage of the proceeds, will go to Teens4Jesus. I will try to post this information when I can find the email containing the info.

I do not know everything, as I am not the owner of this organization, just a 'staff' member.

Regards,

Stephen

ok..awesome idea.

I'll donate all that I can. perhaps we can get RJ to code a script/plugin where we can automatically have a desired amount of earned NP's default to your org?

eitherway..expect donations from me.

Okay. I cannot tell how much you donate. If you donate directly to T4J with paypal, it is tax deductible.

Could you restate what you said about, LeeRyder? I am almost out of it at the moment. :)

That, I mean. :)

oh and..ignore the morons here who flame you for this. Im sure your well aware of the Anti Christian sentiment going on these days. it comes with being online.

umm..well RJ is very proactive in giving this community what it wants. if we were to ask him.. with enough voices..im sure he could create an option for certain amounts of our namepoints earned could automatically go into your charity account, by-passing us completely.

i think ...if he added in there that people could choose which charity (yours included of course) our points could default too..and what percentage.. people would support it... so for the entire community and all charities..it would be a big benefit.

so as an example, say I said 50% of my namepoints earned would go to your org.. then 10% to another charity, you would get a percentage of my namepoints by default instead of them coming into my account.

Perhaps we could try that... It seems like a decent way to go about it, without having to buy all of these ribbons.

I have been ignoring most of the flames, but have stated that I do not mind whomever voicing their opinions, as I really don't care if they do or not..
