The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Recently I sold G/o/B/o/r/r/o/w. com at wholesale price of $5000, it has a huge retail price on Atom aka SquadHelp. Congrats to the buyer.

This was my first attempt at grabbing a domain in a newly released TLD, I figured a one letter domain would be easy to flip quickly but it wasn’t. Due to a billing error on GoDaddy’s side the renewal cost became $1688.99 (it should have cost me more originally). I made a small profit, better than dropping but wasted time on outbound. Lesson learned.

know what you mean Mike....

A lot of it is obviously down to luck. I sold gogive dot com for $700ish (which i was clearly happy with). Same deal as Gene's post and approach "Im starting a charity site and am interested etc etc". Anyway, as if by magic, a large corp has since created a limited Co here in the UK of the same name...

Nothing resides as yet... But I did mail the guy later saying he could have the dot info for free as Enom had regged it on my behalf... But, guess what, the freemail acct he originally contacted me on now no longer exists....

I could contact the Ltd Co owners but cant be bothered now....
SOLD: memecoins.xyz

Kapcoin.com has found a new home through DAN Distribution Network! The domain spent roughly 2 years under our wing and sold via a buy-it-now listing for $2,500. Congrats to the new owner!

Urge more people to share sales here ... Its domainers database. Twitter posts get lost with time.
Got a bunch of sales after moving away from Squadhelp now Atom. Gave that platform couple of years with almost no sucess(had 1 sale then none) with 100 plus premium names.
Cheers and good luck & positive vibes!

Just sold my first name on DNWE (at a wholesale liquidation price). Acquired in 2012 in a SnapNames drop auction, but it never got any love from buyers. Sold it for $289 - which was my holding cost over the years. Hopefully the buyer can find a happier home for it. Although It's long, I think it is memorable and for the right buyer will ultimately prove to be a good name. While the sale price was low - it's better than letting it drop and/or renewing year over year. I can put the funds to better use on new hand regs.

Sold memoriesfor.com for $100 USD (£67.50)

Hand-reg

Hold time: Almost a year (when the domain was sold, it was about to expire in 8 days - I of course renewed it again for the buyer once I was asked to transfer the domain)
