Had a little trouble with your "link", Don ... but I think the release of the Kids.US is only a good thing for the .US namespace, overall!
Not sure about your "HipHop" prefix, but it looks pretty !!

Here's a kids.us story from July 7. The sunrise registration period for kids.us continues. Trademark holders are able to register the names now, while the general public will get a shot at it later.
