Hello,

The reason was provided in your listing(s).

For example: https://www.namepros.com/threads/premiumdomains-store-0.1315924/post-9065378
It was brought to our attention that the exact renewal amount was not transparent in this listing as out lined in the rules.

Rule:
6.1.6. Each domain name in a sales listing must include its registrar, payment options, and the following under specific circumstances:
  • Expiration date if it is expiring within 3 months, unless the seller agrees to cover its 1 year renewal cost for the buyer, whereby the buyer must request this option within 7 days after an agreement is reached.
  • Renewal price, unless it is less than or equal to $15 USD at its current registrar.
Tip: Consider also including the price to transfer/renew the domain name at a different registrar, especially if it's less expensive than renewing at its current registrar.
Simply stating "Standard Renewal" is misleading and does not comply with the less than or equal to $15 rule.

Listing closed / All bids void / Misleading renewal cost
For internal use ONLY: https://www.namepros.com/reports/124422/
We felt that the post above was pretty clear in outlining what rule was violated and why we had to close the listing and void the bids from members that may not have bid on the domain if they had been made aware of the actual renewal cost(s).

The rule quoted is there to help protect members from misinformation and promotes full transparency.

The renewal price of the domain/extension you listed exceeds $15 and therefore, violates the rule quoted since you did not specify the actual renewal and used a vague word, like "Standard", which means something different to everyone. Many associating it to a $9 to $20 standard/common renewal cost.

Your .store domain at the registrar you listed is $50.98 and currently on sale for $35.48: https://www.namecheap.com/domains/registration/gtld/store/

Had you transparently disclosed that as outlined in the rule we quoted for renewals that exceed $15, some of the bidders may not have placed a bid.

It should be noted that we were investigating your listing after it was brought to our attention by concerned member(s).

We hope that information helps explain a bit better than our initial post.

Hi, apologies for not including renewals. Those domains are just liquidation non profitable sale.

. Agency $19 renewal on Dyna
. Store $47 on namecheap

But the problem is uneditable auction thread. You locked it without giving a chance to add renewal.
You should give 24 hrs for edit.

Anyway domains not expires on the next 3 months so renewals are not necessary.

P. S. Mod why do you hate me? I am a good person.

Hello,

You may have missed the part in our reply above where we pointed out that it would not be ethical to bind bidders to bids that were placed on domains with misinformed renewal costs. As they may have been expecting a "Standard" renewal of $9 to $20.

Had you disclosed the actual renewal rates, the bids would have remained binding. However, since you did not disclose them, the listing violated the rule we referenced previously, and all bids were voided.

You cannot edit an auction adding a higher renewal cost after bids have already been placed. That's not fair to the bidders of the auction(s).

You are more than welcome to start new auctions. Just be sure to disclose those renewal costs that exceed $15 as outlined in the rule this time to avoid any unfortunate situations like this one from happening again.

For reference, here's the rule that applies to your auction editing request after bids have been placed: 6.2.3. An auction cannot be modified once a bid is placed with the exceptions of its Buy-It-Now ("BIN") price (e.g., a BIN price may be added), its bid increments, approving additional bidders, adding payment methods, and/or adding additional domains at no extra cost. Once a bid is placed, every allowable change (the exceptions just mentioned) must be posted to the thread as a new reply as well as updated in the original post before it becomes effective and valid (e.g., a BIN price cannot be accepted until that is done, but rule 6.2.10 applies). BIN prices are not reserve prices and therefore do not affect rule 6.2.10.

We hope that information helps.
