Ah, the old certain words are harder to find argument. The brandable marketplaces love that one and probably have created it. I sell those fine on Afternic with no logo, description or promo. If it is a good portmanteau, you are probably not the...

The economics for the owners of those 70k low end names from the example above: 1. Invest coins, time, energy getting the names listed. 2. Sell 400 via SH/A and another 350 via AN, 750 total. Gross revenue 750 x 2500 - 25% commission (both for...

It is a good business. For them. 1. Collect $100k for 100k submissions. 2. Approve 70k of those. 3. Have hundreds of owners jump through the hoops, some of them even doing promos via social, outbound etc. 4. Sell about 350 of those naturally a...

The only prime locations are 1. Com for anything 2. .org for non profit, social, community etc. 3. Respective cctld if limited to the country.

Got to be .com (or cctld if country-specific) If it is not the exact title dot com, then you are asking the customers to dedicated another compartment of their brain to you, which most won't bother. So either pay up for the name you are...

It is a great idea. Don't see any technical issues either. A website owner can specify within its meta or css how it wants the domain part capitalized and the only thing that needs to be done is for browsers to learn to read the tag. It won't...

A great name with quite a few end users. Construction companies are not known to really appreciate the value of the names though limiting the higher end of the sale. Wholesale: $1.5k to $3k Retail: $10k to $20k.

The bigger question is why do you think your invented name would have any suitors, especially the ones willing to pay $xxxx for it if they did not pick it up for $10 in the previous 3 decades. Also, most likely, that you won't have any...

A normal STR for decent .coms is around 1%. Around 50% of this comes from listing with Afternic and its network and another 50% from a good lander. The lander portion can be improved or worsened by +/-20% via great or bad lander. So, let's...

Unless you are Adolfo Rivero, this is probably not your name, as it is already developed. If it were, it would be at least a mid $xxxx domain, wholesale low to mid $xxx

That line can be auto-added to 95% .com names as long as they are not a) obviously trashy (no value) b) liquid ($xxx+).

    I have about 0.1% of all LLLL.coms ))
  • Recons.Com
Every LLLL.com has been registered since 2007. Some might have later reg date just because some auction houses were resetting their reg, but none ever has been available for a hand reg since.

Thanks. However, it is far from unique. I have few just from the recent adds. E.g. Pure/record.com still showing the afternic page with the old price and owner, even though it was added from my GD account with the verification NS added beforehand.
