I was ok with the bugginess as long as the work I had to do was one time.
Things like names hitting "under review" again for no reason are making it bad for me. On top of that, the tools you rely on stop working and no one is willing to fix it...
Update:
- Names keep randomly hitting the "on review" section with no apparent reason. Got 3 new ones there. So the problem isn't fixed.
- Simple issue like resorting is messing up the visit stats and showing all of them as zero is not still...
They have moved that functionality into Afternic albeit still using Dan side for actual implementation. So, 5% lead import will likely stay as it is unrelated business to their core and mostly pure profit after transaction fees and small admin...
Yeah, very similar to what you had with ButterFly... Butterfly.com is worth 6-7 figures, Butter+Fly - reg fee... But couple of algo suggestions above would cover this... "if domain is dictionary word, then just capitalize first letter".
Again...
It can be optimized to provide 95% accuracy (or best case accuracy) with few algorithms... Like first check if it is the dictionary word/name. In that case, no splitting like ButterFly. Then, for cases like GodOwn vs GoDown verbs in the end could...
You really was expecting that even if it were true and dan employees were somehow notified about this, they'd be authorized to publicly state anything but "we are fine, we are continuing" without risking being fired on spot?
Not sure how...
My 14% unlisted is with that method. They don't care about changing dns... I gave up listing there as without NC they might be selling 1-2 names a year.
Not sure why they cannot implement a very simple method used by Dan, Afternic: a unique NS...
That is awesome. I think I will allocate few hundred names to give your landers try. Let me know when it is ready. Stripe would be good. Paypal isn't supported in lots of countries and their gateway might also be problematic.
Thanks, James. I normally try to sort things via the support, but sometimes feel like they are hitting a glass ceiling where they are trying, but nothing is moving.
To update, I did add another round of 100+ names and the prices reflected in few...
Huh? Who said about bad relationships? It is a business. And everyone takes care of their interests... If Visa or Mastercard would start giving preferential treatment for one of big players in bank business, others would take a note. Afternic was...
I get what they state... And I am sure they will distinguish once it doesn't work in their interest. But, again, if the buyer is financing, the buyer should get all/lion's share of it.
1. it is irrelevant for .coms. I don't mind them taking renewal from my portion but not charging the extra 15%. Over 5 years, that is just $50, while 15% even on 3k name is $450. Are you saying that if I do LTO for $100 name for 5 years, they...
